I was born in NYC and lived in Harlem at the Stephen F. Foster projects. After moving to southeast Louisiana my passion for cooking steadily increased. I graduated high school and attended college thereafter, but never secured a degree. Ultimately, I stumbled into non-destructive testing and discovered an affinity for quality inspection and testing in the industrial sector. After working in varying quality roles (from radiographer trainee to Regional QA Program Manager) for over 30 years, I now consider myself to be a Quality Management Specialist.

My role in my community is not only as a resident, but I am also a responsible party. Serving Open Cities Health Center granted me an opportunity to get directly involved with helping to improve conditions for the unseen and undeserved.
