What is a clinical pharmacist?
Our clinical pharmacist is a medication specialist who works closely with your healthcare team at Open Cities to ensure your medications are working for you!
What can the clinical pharmacist do?
The pharmacist, through an agreement with your provider, is able to start, stop or change medications to optimize your therapy.
You could benefit from a visit with the pharmacist if you:
- Are on many medications
- Have a chronic condition(asthma, hypertension, diabetes, etc.)
- Have recently been to the hospital or emergency room
- Have difficulty affording or accessing your medications
- Want to know the best way to use your medications
