Open Cities is registered to benefit from your generosity on “Give to the Max Day”
“Give to the Max Day has become a Minnesota giving holiday,” said Jake Blumberg, executive director of GiveMN. “For 24 hours, thousands of organizations and individuals rally to support amazing and important causes that make Minnesota a great place to live, work and play.
For 24 hours Open Cities Health Center invites you and your loved ones to rally and support our cause.
Your gift will support:
- Promoting healthy living in the community: Provide community-wide education on chronic diseases and address the issues surrounding health disparities; highlighting the benefits of regular check-ups and maintaining healthy lifestyles, and assisting patients in accessing care and social services.
- Creating easier access to health care: We have a team of Health Navigators who help patients navigate the health care system. Health Navigators are culturally competent health care professionals who understand and respect the ethnicity, language, socioeconomic status and life experiences of the community members they serve.
- Updating clinic infrastructure: New equipment and updates to clinic interiors will allow OCHC to increase access to high quality health care for thousands of marginalized, underinsured and uninsured individuals and families in the St. Paul area. OCHC’s North End and Dunlap St. clinics help ensure localized access to services and the provision of culturally competent care to those in need, which are essential keys to eliminating health and economic disparities.
